Death takes a horrible toll on people.
I sat up recounting childhood memories of these people. They once meant a lot to me, but then again, I think when youre young, everyone means a lot, and everyone that treats you well is in your mind forever, no matter how vague those memories may be, theyll always be there.
Those memories are vague, extremely vague, but I remember. I remember spending days sitting in a high chair in the kitchen and eating pop tarts. Thats always the first memory that comes to mind. They adored me. They werent family, but they felt so close.
Andrew and Syblene McAbee those memories, no matter how vague will always be with me. May you both rest in peace, and you too Arlene, though I cant recall your name or face, I wish you all the best wherever you may be going and Im sorry you had to go the way you did.
Ive been crying for god only knows how long now. I actually cried myself to sleep at one point, a fitful sleep, but sleep none the less. Only to wake up a few hours later still crying
Its stuff like this that makes me despise the world
ANDERSON, S.C. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a McCormick man has been charged with three counts of felony driving under the influence in the deaths of a woman, her husband and sister in a crash near Anderson.
Lance Corporal Kathy Hiles says 61-year-old Robert Blair was driving on Abbeville Highway about 6:30 a.m. Monday when his Ford F-250 pickup truck crossed the double yellow line. Hiles says Blair crashed head-on with a Toyota Scion, killing all three people inside.
Coroner Greg Shore identified the victims as 66-year-old Syblene McAbee; her husband, 75-year-old Andrew McAbee; and her sister, 68-year-old Arlene Sorrells. All were of Anderson.
May the gods be with you all.
